May 16, 2014, Hartfod, CT – During the Magnet Schools of America’s 32nd National Conference in Hartford, CT the A.B. Combs Leadership Magnet Elementary in Raleigh, NC was named the recipient of the Dr. Ronald P. Simpson Distinguished Merit Award for 2014. This award is given annually to the nation’s top magnet school and commemorates the organization’s founding member Dr. Ronald P. Simpson.
