Annie Pennycook School is a Full Service and Leader in Me School located in Vallejo, CA. Students in preschool/KP through sixth grade are a part of a whole-school transformation process that integrates principles of leadership and effectiveness into school curriculum using age-appropriate language.
They have a county-wide Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) program at Annie Pennycook that serves students preschool through fifth grade. Many DHH students are fully integrated into their mainstream classrooms.
Additionally, Pennycook’s School-Based Health Center provides an array of critical services, including primary medical care, mental health services, health education, nutrition services, and dental care to students in Vallejo’s public schools. They pride themselves as being Pennycook Scholars and work with their staff, students, families and community to support scholars as learners today and developing leaders of tomorrow.
