What We’re Reading: TED Talk: Kiran Sethi: Kids, Take Charge
Author: Judy Yauch
I recently listened to a TED talk about a woman who started a school in India. Kiran Sethi founded her school on the idea that if you tell children they can do it, they will do it, and they do it well. Her “spark” to start the school came about because of a teacher who believed in her and challenged her.
As I watched the eight-minute video, I couldn’t help but think of the similarities with The Leader in Me.
- Leader in Me Schools believe that every child has unique talents and strengths.
- Leader in Me Schools believe that every child can be a leader.
- Leader in Me Schools believe that every child has a voice and unlimited potential.
Leader in Me Schools are making an impact on children around the world, one child at a time. Will you be the teacher who provides the “spark”?
