Event Types

School Visits
School visits typically begin with a brief explanation of why and how the school started its Leader in Me journey. During the visit, you’ll hear from students, teachers, and sometimes parents/guardians, and you’ll often take a student-led tour of the building to see how leadership is built into daily routines and learning. These visits are a great way to gather practical ideas you can tailor to your own school.

7 Habits Regionals
7 Habits Regionals are condensed trainings designed to help staff members who were hired after a school’s initial 7 Habits training. They provide essential background on the core habits and principles that Leader in Me is built on. These events are also a helpful opportunity for school leaders who are exploring Leader in Me to get a firsthand look at the foundational framework.

Leader in Me Symposium
A Leader in Me Symposium is a one- or two-day professional learning event where educators come together to see and share what student and adult leadership look like in real schools. Participants hear from students and staff from Leader in Me schools, learn practical strategies for building a leadership culture, and explore tools for strengthening academics, behavior, and durable life skills. Sessions are interactive and classroom-focused, so educators leave with practical ideas they can tailor to their own school and role.
