Leadership Research

Leadership is a choice, and for Leader in Me students their leadership choices are demonstrated most clearly through self-discipline. Negative interactions with peers, outbursts in class, and disrespect of teachers, that rise to the level of a discipline referral are often a lack of self-discipline. As students throughout Leader in Me schools learn the skills of personal and interpersonal leadership, their self-discipline increases and schoolwide discipline referrals inevitably decline.
