Director of Grants • Associate Director of Research

Dr. Jennifer Chevalier worked in public education for 15 years, serving as a classroom teacher, Math Coach, K12 Instructional Coach, Talent Developer, and Research and Grants Development Manager in southeast Florida. She is Florida State Certified in K12 Educational Leadership, K12 Exceptional Student Education, and Elementary Education. She attained a Florida State Endorsement in the areas of English to Speakers of Other Languages, Gifted Education, and Reading Instruction. She earned a BA in English, an MA in Elementary Education, an MA in Educational Leadership, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction.

In her role as Director of Grants for FranklinCovey Education, Dr. Chevalier established the Grants Department to help clients secure funding for Leader in Me, developing grant proposals to support the expansion of rigorous research to validate the impact of Leader in Me on students, educators, schools, and districts. In her role as Associate Director of Research, she writes blogs and publications, speaks during national webinars and at research-related conferences and events, and works to increase the research base around Leader in Me.

Dr. Jennifer Chevalier has facilitated adult learning at state and national conferences, has served on the Board of a state education professional learning organization, Learning Forward – Florida, and has contracted as a grant reviewer with NY State and the U.S. Department of Education. To serve her local community, she also works with a local nonprofit organization to secure grant funding to expand its services to at-risk youth. Dr. Chevalier has been married to her husband, Kirk, for 25 years and their son, Conner, has an M.S. in Human Performance and is a personal trainer.
