In this follow-up investigation of the two-school Leader in Me case study, also conducted by Johns Hopkins University (see the study by Dr. Steven Ross), the research team examined the relationship between implementing Leader in Me and state test performance. Findings included:

• Both schools outperformed the state across most grades in mathematics and ELA prior to starting Leader in Me, and increased or maintained that advantage in the years after implementation.

• None of the tested grades saw a significant decrease in any subject since starting Leader in Me.
