The deepest and most powerful learning happens through active engagement with content coupled with reflection.

Participants will learn to focus on empowering paradigms and practices, trusting relationships, and student-led learning will help you adopt a “We learn,” rather than an “I teach” mindset. At the end of the day, you will be able to:

  • Create a plan to modify current classroom routines to nurture greater student ownership of the classroom culture and classroom learning.
  • Plan learning experiences using the Empowered-Learning Approach (3i), leading to greater and more frequent student-led learning.

  • Identify key Paradigm Shifts necessary for us to increase empowerment in our classroom culture.
  • Modify classroom routines and practices to increase empowerment in the classroom culture.
  • Increase and deepen trusting relationships in the classrooms by practicing and modeling Trust Behaviors.
  • Plan learning experiences that shift the ownership of learning more to students, using the Empowered-Learning Approach.

Completion of Leader in Me Core workshops 1, 2, and 3.
