Leader in Me provides schools with a model to help foster life-ready leadership skills by creating a leadership culture. Classroom materials and enhancements help schools and staff to provide opportunities to deepen and engage with the 7 Habits content throughout each day and across the academic year.
The Leadership Guides are available in digital format to all schools as a part of your membership benefit. As an added value, Leader in Me offers schools professionally printed and bound leadership guides. This allows each student the chance to reflect on previous lessons and turns the leadership guide into a portfolio tracking their growth and development across the academic year. Because we are able to print them in large quantities, the cost per guide is often less than the total cost of printing each student a complete packet.
Classroom resources, from posters to puppets, help teachers and staff integrate the 7 Habits key concepts into just about any subject or activity—during class lessons, at assemblies, in morning announcements, Family Nights, or at extracurricular events. An investment here ensures a culture of leadership is woven into every aspect of a student’s learning community.
LEAD journals help students navigate increasingly complex social situations and escalating levels of responsibility that come as the transition to high school gets closer. The journals use examples of real-life situations that illustrate critical leadership skills in action including relationship building, organization, teamwork, life balance, and planning. They also include activities that provide students opportunities to be creative, work in teams, be active, engage with digital content, and share their thoughts in group sessions. At the end of the year, students can reflect back on their progress and the learning and development that has taken place.

Kick off your staff or departmental meetings with a book study, connect targeted coaching or impact journeys to a complimentary text – the possibilities are endless!
Targeted Coaching Sessions allow your school the opportunity to go deeper into existing content, experience new content, or create a custom experience. Your coach will connect you to the Leader in Me Online resources that can guide or deepen your new learning in your selected area, and help your school achieve the results you’re targeting.
Targeted Coaching Sessions are delivered by a FranklinCovey Coach with dedicated times for the principal, Lighthouse Team, action team(s), and/or grade level teams during planning periods. This means that these sessions do not require a full professional development day – and they do not require you to purchase materials. You decide what, when, and how many.

A new Leader in Me offering, Executive Coaching is a one-on-one coaching partnership with a district or school-based leader or small team, established for the purpose of unlocking your personal and/or professional potential, and jointly achieving critical personal and organizational goals. It comes in a bundle of 6 one-hour calls spread out over a timeline you’ll work with your coach to determine.
